Any general questions about my birds can be asked here. Otherwise, please email me if you're going to include private information such as emails and phone numbers. I was recently informed that particular individuals have taken emails from here and used them inappropriately.
Hi Kong,
I live in Australia and would like to ask you if you could send me some video of your jungle fowls.
And the original birds recorded. My email is leejtwg@hotmail.com I have red Jungle fowl as well but nothing like yours.

From Pao
Pao,

Are you asking for actual video tapes to play in your own VCR or DVD player, or video on the web? As far as the original birds, I'll try to post a video of both of them crowing.
By chance, do you have any video of your birds?
I would like a video to play on my dvd player.
My birds are not as good as yours but it is the best we have in Australia. I can send the tapes to you if you want.

I don't mind making a DVD, but in all honestly, it may take me some time. I'll try to start recording them and loading them on to my computer so I can edit the footage.
I would love to see your birds as well. Is there any way you can post them on youtube?
By the way, thanks for liking my birds, but they are far from being the best of anything. I find that when it comes to these birds, the qualities each person is looking for differs. The term "best" is really subjective.
Also, just curious, but can Australia still import birds? Since you are geographically closer to Asia than us in the U.S., have you tried importing the birds?
Well i don't mind waiting for the dvd.also add to it the original imported birds footage if you can. As for importing it is not possisble to import, can import only through england but very expensive.
I am not able to post any on youtube yet but i will try this weekend. Or i could send them to you.
I don't mind you sending them to me, but I'm not sure if Australia operates on a NTSC or PAL system. Youtube should be easier for you and I, plus it's free. I'm anxious to see how yours look and crow.
The reason why i would like youto send the dvd because i want to collect jungle fowls on dvd and video. I will pay for freight when you are ready to send them.
Ok, I will let you know when I have one completed. By the way, are you still going to post your video on youtube? Also, how many videos of RJFs do you have? If you have some good ones, I'd be interested in them.
I do not know the answer as to why some jungle fowls have white ears and some do not, but I do know that white ears occur naturally within the gallus gallus murghi, gallus gallus spadiceus, and gallus gallus gallus sub-species. These three sub-species can have any varying degree of white ears to completely red ears, with gallus gallus gallus having the largest of the white ear lobes. The two other sub-species, gallus gallus jabouillei and gallus gallus bankiva have red ears. Pao,

If you have some good videos of wild jungle fowl in Southeast Asia, I'd like to buy some off of you. Personally, I have not seen a wild jungle fowl crow from that part of the world and would love to see full length videos of them.
I'll make a copy of the jungle fowl video's i have.
They are a collection around the world and in zoos.
i won;t charge you for it. In this video one lot of jungle which is considered to be the puriest in the world, i believe they have been genetically tested. They are verywild and roost very high.
Interesting. Please do make me a copy and send it to me. Do they have jungle fowls crowing in the videos? I'm anxious to see this video as I have been searching for high quality videos for some time and have been unsuccessful locating any. How soon do think think you'd have time to make me a copy and send it to me?
Give me a couple of weeks, The quality won't be the best.As it is a copy of the original. This person has gone around the world recording these birds.
send me your addy.
That's understandable. Any video is better than no video though. I can't wait to see it. Do you know if Australia operates on PAL or NTSC system? I think if it's not NTSC, then our DVD players won't be able to play them. If you can, please record it the NTSC format. And give me your email so I can give you my address.
Hi Kong;
I am looking for a few eggs or chicks of the jungle fowl to try and raise at home. I was wondering if you can supply some eggs or chicks at some time and what the cost would be.
I live in Wisconsin at 54235. I bought some eggs from a gal in North Caroline but they are a hybrid and I don't like them and trying to find some good pure fowl.
Please contact me at balacorelanger@yahoo.com
thank you;
Greg
Hi Greg,

Thanks for you interest, but I'm sorry I do not have any eggs or young chicks available at this time. The youngest birds I have are 2-3 months old. Also, my hens have stopped laying and my males are in eclipse (my two Laos males only eclipse half way up their necks).

Additionally, my birds are not pure. If you're looking for 100% pure birds, you may have to look into the Richardson or Rodney Michaels Indian red jungle fowl lines.

Kong
I was wondering if in your next batches will u have any for birds for sale? If not do you know where I can get some quality birds or who I can contact? Thanks
Cher,

I am contemplating on selling a few birds in the next days. I will post them up and if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

I'm not 100% sure on anyone having birds for sale, but I do know that Wa Meng (in Northern California) has produced a ton of birds this season. He would be the best bet to get birds from. It all just depends on what you're looking for (looks, crow, purity, etc.)

Kong
